These terms apply to consumers. Business purchases are possible but the consumer provisions below — in particular the right of withdrawal — apply only to consumers.

Tights, thigh-highs and knee-highs between 8 and 120 denier. The lowest coverage we sell is a knee-high; there are no ankle socks or trainer socks on this site.

Photography

Every transparency photograph is made to one fixed standard: one display leg form, one soft key light at 45 degrees, one fixed camera distance, one seamless background. Retouching is limited to dust removal. Transparency and finish are never adjusted.

Claims we do not make

• Nothing here is a medical device. Styles that state a pressure value in millimetres of mercury do so as a product parameter. They are not intended to treat, prevent or relieve any condition. If a clinician has advised compression, talk to them about medical compression garments instead.
• Nothing here is snag-proof. A higher denier resists snagging better than a lower one. No tights are snag-proof, and we will not describe any of them that way.
• Silicone bands are not a guarantee. They hold better on dry skin; lotions and oils reduce grip. They reduce slipping, they do not eliminate it.
• We make no claims about appearance. A higher elastane content gives a firmer hold. That is a statement about the fabric, not about your body.

Fibre names

Compositions use the legal fibre names required by Regulation (EU) No 1007/2011. Where a fibre is a regenerated cellulose it is named viscose, not by the plant it was made from.

All prices are in US dollars and are charged in US dollars. Prices currently run from $10.00 to $96.00. There is no currency switch on this site.

Prices can change. The price that applies to your order is the price displayed when you place it. If a price is obviously wrong — an evident typographical error — we may decline the order and will refund you in full rather than hold you to it.

Where a previous price is shown struck through, that previous price is the lowest price we applied to that style in the thirty days before the reduction. Where that condition is not met, no struck-through price is shown at all.

Tall, Curve and Wide-calf styles cost more than their regular equivalents because they are knitted on separate blocks with more yarn and in shorter runs. Every one of those product pages states what the difference pays for. No premium is applied for size itself.

Dutch BTW is charged at 21% where it applies. The tax applicable to your delivery address is shown before payment.

Every purchase on this site is a single payment for goods delivered once. There is no membership tier, no monthly or annual plan, no points scheme, no stored balance and no recurring delivery. Nothing on this site will charge you a second time.

Email updates are free and separate from any purchase. Subscribing to them creates no payment obligation and you can withdraw consent at any time.

1. You add styles to the cart, choosing a size for each.
2. At checkout you give the delivery details and confirm the statements that apply to what is in your cart — sealed hosiery, and support styles.
3. You pay. The contract is formed when we confirm the order by email.
4. That confirmation repeats, in full: the statutory information, the notice of your right of withdrawal, and the model withdrawal form.

Where a first-order discount code is offered, it applies to the goods total of a single order, before shipping, and cannot be combined with another code. One code per customer. It cannot be exchanged for cash and does not apply retrospectively to an order already placed.

The current first-order code is SHEERLINE10, worth 10% off the goods total. We can withdraw or change a promotion at any time; that never affects an order already placed.

Multipacks contain multiple pairs of one style in one size. They are always priced below the same pairs bought singly, and each pack page states what the same pairs would cost separately. We do not build packs from styles you did not choose.

Free standard shipping applies to orders over $55 in goods value, after any discount.

Where we cannot ship

We ship worldwide except to destinations covered by applicable export controls or sanctions, and except where a carrier will not accept the destination. If we cannot lawfully ship to your address we will cancel the order and refund it in full.

Import duties, customs charges and any tax raised by the destination country are payable by the recipient and are not included in the price. A refused delivery that is returned to us is refunded less any carrier charges we incur.

Risk passes to you when the goods are handed to you or to a carrier you appointed yourself.

You have 14 days from the day after delivery to withdraw from the purchase without giving a reason. The full notice and the model form are on the herroepingsrecht page.

Sealed hosiery is an exception. Hosiery is a hygiene item. Where an item is delivered sealed and that seal has been opened, the right of withdrawal no longer applies to it. Every product page states whether that item is delivered sealed, the cart repeats it, and checkout asks you to confirm you understand it before you pay.

You can hold a sealed pair against your leg and check the size chart. Once the seal is open, the exception applies.

Your legal rights under Dutch law are not limited to a fixed number of years. How long a product must last depends on what you can reasonably expect from it. Any commercial guarantee we offer is in addition to those rights, never instead of them.

A ladder from catching the fabric is wear, not a fault. A seam coming apart on first wear is a fault. The full explanation, with examples, is on the garantie en conformiteit page.

Consumer protection in the Netherlands is enforced by the Autoriteit Consument & Markt (ACM), which also runs the consumer information portal ConsuWijzer.

Dutch law applies. Where you are a consumer resident elsewhere, that choice does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory provisions of your own country’s law.

If any provision of these terms is held to be invalid, the rest stay in force.

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the version published when you placed it. The date at the top of this page is the date of the current version.

This site is not intended for children under 13. Between 13 and 17, a parent or guardian must agree to the purchase.
