Seventy denier measured on the outer face, with the inside brushed to raise a short pile. The outside looks like C-02 under the same lamp; the inside does not feel like it.

The brushing is what makes this warm, not the denier. Comparing the 70 on this label against the 70 on C-02 tells you nothing about how warm either one is.

At 70D this is among the more snag-resistant knits we make. Higher denier resists snagging better. No tights are snag-proof.
