The same 40D knit finished so it does not return light. Against B-03 under one lamp this reads flatter and marginally darker, with no bright line down the shin.

At this denier the finish difference is less visible than it is at 15D, because there is less light passing through the fabric to begin with.

At 40D the knit is denser than a sheer and resists snagging better, but higher denier resists snagging better. no tights are snag-proof.
